US Government recently asked Apple Inc to help them in unlocking an iPhone that belongs to one of the Terrorist-Syed Rizwan Farook, who killed shooting 14 people and wounded many who involved in a party on December 2015.

Federal Bureau of Investigation approached apple even with a court order as well, upon which the apple decided to challenge it and refused to help federal law enforcement officers unlock a phone used by Syed Rizwan Farook. CEO Tim Cook describing the incident as “unprecedented step which threatens the security of our customers”.

After this FBI asked apple to have a backdoor software to enable them in the future to deal with situations like these. This caused a lot of arguments and debates among the people from silicon valley and the Government.  Lot of top Silicon Valley giants including Google, Microsoft and Twitter rushed to take apple’s side in the issue reiterating that, even when it is “extremely important” to deter crime and terrorism, no company should be or forced to be required to build backdoor to their own technology.

Presidential frontier Donald Thump rushed alleging Tim Cook for his action saying that Apple’s move is uncertain and no
thing else but a “Publicity Gimmick” and will “Boycott Apple” products until the company decides to give up on their decision and help Law enforcement agents by building a backdoor software.

Thump repeatedly posted on twitter that he will stop using his personal iPhone until Tim agrees to help FBI in the issue and said that he will use Samsung Phone till then.
