To become more competent and effective in my SEO job, I need to re-evaluate my preferred Chrome Extensions. If you are a freelancer and don’t have a large team that able to support you, to have an easy and fast tools at your fingertips is very important. Of course, I need to do my research online to find the latest recommendations, news and articles for different SEO tips, technique and strategies to add up my knowledge.
Until I found out news that talks about Chrome Extensions that are useful in SEO, then I made a list of my preferred Chrome Extensions that I think could be helpful with my job, I wish that you find them useful too.
It’s a great one-stop-shop as it contains a lot of information you need for a specific page. The upgraded Mozbar allow the user to customize their searches through search engine and location, also with this extension user can easily pointed out the different kinds of links it’s either internal of external and do follow of no follow links.
Ayima Redirect Checker
This Chrome Extension helps you to know what type of redirect exists (if there is) and as you click on it; you will see the redirect path. Indeed this is the handy and fastest way to identify redirect chains.
Canonical Inspector 0.2.2
This is new version can’t afford not to include in my list, this one really makes sense most especially if you are particular with the proper usage of canonical tags for the sites. By utilizing this extension it is easy for you to arrive for a site and automatically identify if canonical tag is present or not on a specific page or the canonical tag equal to the different page or current page.
G New Doc
This one is awesome, it save my time and avoid frustration and actually makes me utilize Google Docs most of the time, which I can easily share documents and files to my colleagues and increase efficiency within the company.

We all know that speed load time is very important factor for the site’s ranking and popularity. Page Insights affects the speed load time of your page which is very helpful for attracting attention of the users, and to make your page search engine friendly.
This extension allow the user to see the full list of common user agents by just clicking it, by this means you can see how your site or page would look to different crawlers. The good thing about User-Agent Switcher is that it allow also the user to show other search engine, browser and even iPad and iPhone.
The Google Chrome extension Scraper is beneficial for gathering data out of web pages and into spreadsheets. More than you could imagine there are never-ending uses of this extension that includes competitive analysis and keyword research.
Social Metrics for Current Page
This extension is very basic, but one of the best. Rather than appending features that no one certainly needs, Social Metrics for Current Page will tell you what exactly you want to know about, for an instance you want to know the popularity of the page on different social media sites. With this extension it tells you if the page pulls Tweets, Facebook Likes, Google Plus’s for no matter what webpage you are on.
Firebug Lite for Google Chrome
Perhaps most of you have already installed this extension; however I still opt to include this in my list because despite the fact that is not the best technical analysis tool it is still a fastener of my SEO tool collection. This Chrome Extension allows you to check HTML elements and live edit of CSS. Though it was named Firebug Lite for Google Chrome it doesn’t mean that is a substitute for Chrome Developer Tools or Firebug, it’s just a tool used in combination with these tools.
